Rather than pooling together their resources and housing the Venezuelan migrants that escaped to our land of the free, the sanctuary city of Martha’s Vineyard sent them all to a military base within 48 hours.

The people of Martha’s Vineyard had an opportunity to step up selflessly and display loving-kindness. Instead, they gave our Venezuelan brothers and sisters some Corn Pops and Apple Jacks and sent them to a military base. They also boasted of starting a GoFundMe account to help Martha’s Vineyard migrants.

Google sites just some high-profile residents there are Spike Lee, David Letterman, Carly Simon, James Taylor, Mike Nichols, and Diane Sawyer. Barack and Michelle Obama also have a home on Martha’s Vineyard spanning nearly 30 acres.

April to September are the shoulder-season months for Martha’s Vineyard, which means there’s less traffic and more space available for visitors.

Martha’s Vineyard boasts of over 80 lodging options with no shortage of choices.
